International School of Stuttgart > learning at ISS > ISS scope & sequences
An Introduction to Whole School (ISS Degerloch Campus / ISS Sindelfingen Campus) Early Years - Grade 10 Articulated Scope and Sequence Work At ISS our mission is driven by our belief in the importance of innovation, respect, engagement, and relevance. This belief is first and foremost put into action through the curriculum. Therefore, since the development of our new mission in 2009, we have been working to revise and redevelop our written curriculum to ensure that it meets both the requirements of our new ISS mission, as well as the concepts and objectives defined by the International Baccalaureate Programs. Over the course of the past year, the school leadership, academic council, and heads of department have worked hand-in-hand to define our curriculum philosophy and to articulate the program objectives, guided by Diploma program concepts and criteria, across campuses and school sections, from the early years up to the diploma years. This foundational task has been completed, and we have begun the next stage of the process. This includes moving all curriculum documentation into our Atlas Rubicon database, which is accessible to parents and teachers. If ISS parents would like to find out more about our programs of study and grade level/subject specific standards and benchmarks, please see our ISS Atlas website. For access information please log on to our password-protected parent portal to download the Atlas Quick Guide. |
