After School Sports and Activities Program
THE VISION
THE GOAL OF THE ISS AFTER SCHOOL SPORTS AND ACTIVITIES PROGRAM IS TO PROVIDE AND COORDINATE A VARIETY OF COMPETITIVE AND NON-COMPETITIVE ACTIVITIES FOR OUR MEMBERS TO FURTHER DEVELOP PHYSICAL, SOCIAL AND INTERPERSONAL ABILITIES MEANT TO ENHANCE THE ISS EXPERIENCE, PROMOTE OUR SCHOOL’S IDENTITY AND HELP PREPARE OUR MEMBERS FOR FUTURE CHALLENGES.

The program comprises three section and students may participate in any combination of the sections:

SV-ISS (ISS Sportverein e.V.)

The ISS Sportverein e.V. mission is to organize and promote competitive sports activities within the ISS and the surrounding community; working hand-in-hand with the ISS e.V. to further provide a greater school experience for our students and their families within the host country.

ASAP (After School Activities Program)

The Mission of the After School Activities Program is to provide quality training in a variety of well-structured activities to further the development of a healthy mind, body and attitude as well as further practice and development of specific skills needed to be successful in hobbies and activities of their interest.

International Competitions

The mission of the International Competition section is to foster internationalism through competitive sport by facilitating competitive teams to play within the community of international schools, enabling the international student to develop connections within this community.
