our support services
One of our strengths as a school is our emphasis on student pastoral care. Homeroom teachers are responsible for the pastoral care of each student, helping them to meet the challenges posed at different stages of their development and a programme of career orientation and college guidance is available to all students in grades 9 through 12.

A student's learning and overall sense of well-being may be affected from time to time by emotional and/or social difficulties or stress. Other students may have specific learning needs in particular areas. Our counselors, nurse, principals and homeroom teachers work together in order to assist the student and his/her parents in dealing with these challenges. In case the professional expertise and experience presently represented at ISS does not match the needs of a particular student, we will assist in finding the appropriate professional and/or service.
