our organisation

ISS is organised into three schools. The Primary School in Degerloch caters for students aged three to eleven years (Pre-Kindergarten through grade 5) and the Secondary School in Degerloch caters for students aged twelve to eighteen years (grades 6 to 12). The Böblingen and Sindelfingen International Community School (BaSICS) is situated about 20 km from the Degerloch campus and currently caters for students aged four to twelve years (Kindergarten through grade 7) and plans to expand to grade 10 as demand dictates.

Each school section has a Head of School or Principal responsible for the day-to-day operations of his/her area and for the welfare of the students in his/her care. Together with the Finance Director and Marketing and Development Manager they form the Director's leadership team. Within their specific areas of the school and together with the Curriculum Coordinators the Principals are also responsible for the delivery and development of the ISS curriculum.
